Justin Bieber has been MIA in the music scene for quite sometime. The only current song that has been released is his collaboration with Jack Ü on “Where Are You Now” but all will change this upcoming weekend when he performs his new single ‘What Do You Mean?’ for the first time during the MTV Music Awards.
The song, which drops Friday, is the lead single from Bieber’s next album. The song has been heavily promoted with stars, ranging from TV personality Ellen Degeneres to models like GiGi Hadid, holding a poster with the song title and countdown.
Bieber will join previously announced performers the Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky, and Twenty One Pilots. Kanye West is also set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
The VMAs air on Sunday, August 30th.
