Hey everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates. I’ve been busy catching up on my school work. Once I’m in holiday vacation(Dec.16), I will be uploading frequently. But for now expect some sporadic posting sorry…..
Anyways, hope you guys are having an amazing Monday! For the past few I have been a tad obsessed with Panic at the Disco, they are definitely a band who has flair and style. Not to mention their music videos are trippy as hell. They recently released a new single titled “LA Devotee,” the song is off their new album “Death of a Bachelor” which is out Jan. 15, 2016. The song has been on repeat in my Spotify playlist. The song is filled with catchy hooks and Brandon Urie’s voice is phenomenal in this fast-paced song.
Rihanna is ready to conquer the world. Although the singer has been extremely secretive about her upcoming album Anti; today she has surprised fans and announced details of her upcoming tour appropriately named The Anti World Tour.
The Anti World Tour kicks off February 26th at San Diego, California’s Viejas Arena and will spend three months touring around North America. Travis Scott will serve as Rihanna’s opening act throughout the North American leg.
The following month, Rihanna will stopping in Europe. The Weeknd and Big Sean will serve as opening acts.
Hey everyone, happy monday. This week I recommend the song “40 Watts” by ELEL. The first time I heard the song, I found the chorus to be a bit annoying but the song slowly grew on me. Its a very weird but fun catchy song, hard to get out of your mind. Enjoy 🙂
Fans of Foo Fighters have been anxiously waiting for the countdown clock the band posted on their website to hit zero. On Sunday the countdown officially finished and front-man Dave Grohl surprised fans with a new free EP titled Saint Cecilia.
The five track EP was recorded at Austin, Texas’ Saint Cecilia Hotel during the Austin City Limits festival’s two weekends. The group is also offering a pre-order of the Saint Cecilia vinyl at their official site.
In addition to the new EP, Grohl also penned a long letter to fans; chronically the Sonic Highways journey, his gruesome leg injury, and a touching tribute to those killed in the Paris terror attacks.
Cage the Elephants have revealed the secong single off their upcoming album Tell Me I’m Pretty, titled “Trouble.”
The loud obnoxious melodies of the band are stripped down into a perfect mellow love song. Trouble is extremely different from the “Mess Around,” the first single was greatly influenced by Dan Auerbach from the band The Black Keys with his iconic guitar riffs being the main focus. This new single is a huge different from Cage the Elephants usual single, the song has a more old rock vibe.
Tell Me I’m Pretty will be available December 18th.
Bad news for European fans of Walk the Moon! The band has announced they are cancelling their upcoming shows in the UK and Europe due to the terrorist attacks in Paris. The band released a statement via Facebook stating:
As world events continue to develop, the fire in us burns harder, hotter – our desire to fight back, to play music despite fear and hate, to bring some light to those who, perhaps, need it more than ever right now. But after we wrestled with ourselves, losing sleep, sharing nightmares, we came to this realization: even stronger than our desire to play is our need to protect the people we love: our families, our crew, and the thousands of fans who would be coming to see us. The risk is too much for us to bear. For that reason, we are sorry to announce that we have decided to cancel our upcoming eight shows in the UK + Europe. This hurts to write, and we know so many of you have been hurt more deeply than we can imagine. Our hearts go out to you, especially to those directly impacted. When we return in February 2016 for our biggest European tour yet, together we can sing, scream, shake the ground with our feet, and maybe even heal a little. Until then, stay strong and continue to let music fill you up with love for life. We love you and we’ll see you soon. <+>
The California rock band Eagles of Death Metal have finally broken their silence regarding the terrifying Paris terror attacks on Friday.
The band were performing at Paris concert hall Le Bataclan, when the venue was attacked. Gunmen fired shots inside the concert hall and seized more 100 hostages, killing 89 people. At least 129 were murdered in the six other attacks that took place in Paris that night.
This is the first time the band has officially addressed the public. Last Friday, the only information they posted on social media was to inform the public, they were still looking for missing members of their crew.
It was later revealed the group’s merch manager, Nick Alexander, was killed in the violence. As were members of their record label: Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez.
The group has otherwise remained silent.
While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France. Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with our brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris, as well as their friends, families, and loved ones.
Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris, and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion.
We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil.
All EODM shows are on hold until further notice.
Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France, and vive EODM.
