As Red Hot Chili Peppers gear up to release their forthcoming album. The band has announced they will perform at a benefit concert for presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Special guests have yet to be announced.
Band member Flea gleefully shared the news on Instagram and Twitter stating, “So excited to be playing this concert for Bernie Sanders next week. Feels great to support someone I believe in. The Rhcp offered to give him the money to pay for the theater that night but he wouldn’t accept, he only accepts small donations from individuals. Every other politician greedily grabs every cent they can get from any scumbag lobbyist. This is a man with integrity. If you can please buy the expensive seats to help out the campaign. Thank you so much. Bernie sanders for president.”

For this Fresh Music Monday, I present the song that has been stuck in my head for quite sometime ‘When I’m Alive’ by STKFKR. The song is highly unusual but it a good way. The song combines different genres of music like alternative and disco in a fun way. It transitions into different melodies flawlessly. Check it out 🙂
