Get those tissue ready. It’s time to say goodbye to Yellowcard. The band has released a heartfelt farwell music video for the single ‘A Place We Set Afire.’ The video features emotional footage of the band, interactions with fans and tear-jerking interviews with lead singer Ryan Key.
The single is off Yellowcard’s self-titled final album, which released last September. According to the band’s twitter account, the song was inspired by and written for their fans.

Jack Antonoffs solo project Bleachers has returned with more 80’s syth pop goodness. This time Antonoff has teamed up with singer Lorde for the single “Don’t Take the Money.
Lorde and Antonoff are no strangers to collaborating together. Lorde’s comeback singles ‘Green Light’ and ‘Liability,’ from her upcoming sophomore album Melodrama, were both co-written with Antonoff.
Although Lorde’s voice is not predominately heard(her wispery voice is used as background vocals). “Don’t Take the Money” is sure to be a hit. After the success of Bleachers first hit ‘I Wanna Get Better,” Antonoff has throughly embraced the synth pop style and it definitely works for him. His voice has that vintage 80s vibe. Combined with his mellow yet upbeat music, Bleachers newest single is a must listen.
The single is part of Bleachers’ yet-to-be-titled sophomore album, the follow-up to breakthrough Strange Desire.
The alternative rock band Bleeker have released an entertaining music video for the single”Where’s Your Money,” from their debut album “Erase You.” The video follows the same formula as any other music video. A beautiful woman robs a bank and ends up escaping with a guy, in this case the lead singer. Although the video may seem typical, I very much enjoy the song and the bands style. Their music has that fun rock and roll vibe mixed with a fun youthfulness that a lot of people can enjoy. Check it out

The fun rumbuctious style, was the first thing that caught my attention. “Turn It Up” by The Wrecks is catchy mix of nostalgia and youthfulness. The single’s chaotic style–filled with memorable guitar riffs and drum beats– is the perfect mix of indie rock and punk. The witty/catchy lyrics are unique and one of kind. The band ability to demonstrate their youthful through the fast paced single, definitely makes ‘Turn It Up’ a must listen.
The Wrecks hail from Los Angeles, Ca. The group consists of Nick Anderson (vocals/guitar), Nick Schmidt (guitar), Harrison Nussbaum (guitar), Aaron Kelley (bass), and Billy Nally (drums).
