About a week ago, everywhere I went I kept hearing of the artist Halsey. Now I already knew who she was, since I been hearing her song “New Americana” on the radio CONSTANTLY! Its a pretty catchy song I must admit, but she never really captured my attention. To me, she just looked like a beautiful girl who got lucky with one single. Little did I know that, I would end up regretting not discovering her sooner.
On a whim one day, I decided to but her debut album “Badlands” and during the first song I discovered that Halsey is an incredible artist. All the songs are memorable and well-written, but one song in particular spoke to me. The song “Colors” is so new and colorful. Her voice is spectacular in this song and the beats and lyrics are incredibly fun but emotional at the same time. I might be a bit biased, but she is rapidly becoming one of my favorite female singers. This is why I recommend this song this week, I hope you guys like it as much as I do!
